Non-Presenter Registration
Presenter registration has closed. Non-presenter registration is now open. All are welcome to listen in on sessions, participate if and when invited by session chairs, peruse exhibits and visit with publishers, and join the informal networking sessions.
BTW, registering as a non-presenter does not preclude co-authors from co-presenting. Just notify your session chair.
Fees are $60 for the professional rate and $30 for the concession rate. ‘Concession’ rates apply to people who are students, unwaged, based in low-income countries, or financially impacted by the current COVID-19 pandemic. Please use your own discretion on selecting this rate.
Fees are the same for members and non-members. Payment must be made by credit card, and transactions are in US dollars. Non-presenter registrations are non-refundable.
The button below will take you to the 4S Members’ site, where you will be prompted to log in or create an account. If you are in the program in any role or have participated in 4S in the last five years, you probably already have an account. If you are unsure, try recovering a password.
Presenter Registration
Presenters must have registered by June 30 to be in the program. Most of the information below is moot. We keep it here for reference.
Cancellation Policy — Updated
Beginning July 1, cancellations will be accepted with a refund of 50%. If you must cancel, please notify the meeting secretariat [meeting@easst4s2020prague.org], the 4S administrator [webmaster@4sonline.org], and (if known) your session chair.
Logging In
If you submitted a paper or are listed as a presenter or author on an accepted paper, you already have an account with the registration site. Please avoid creating a duplicate account–it will only cause confusion and delay. If you don’t know your login credentials, use the ‘forgot password’ link. When you update your password, your user name will be displayed on the confirmation screen. For login help and account problems, feel free to contact webmaster@4sonline.org.
While you are at 4smembers.org, you can update your profile, including your login credentials, email address, institution, etc. Any change in your user name and password should be effective immeidately at the program site. Other changes may take up to an hour to sync.
Fees and Options
Unless other arrangements are made with the conference team, you must be registered for the conference by the end of June 30th to be included in the program. (Operational definition: Each paper in the program must be represented by a discrete Presenter registration.)
Fees for presenters feature a discount for members. All EASST members have been imported into the database. For new EASST members joining after May 18, there may be a delay of several days before your status is updated. Everyone is welcome to apply for the EASST membership. To join 4S, click the ‘Membership’ tab at the top of the registration site.
Presenters: $300 for non-members, $200 as a 4S or EASST member
Presenter, concession rate: $200 for non-members, $100 as a 4S or EASST member

Society Rate: $400 for non-members, $300 as a 4S or EASST member
Choose the ‘society’ rate to support the work of both societies in these financially uncertain times.
Non-presenters: After June 30, we will offer deeply discounted registration for anyone who is not on the program.
Payment
You can pay online by Visa or Mastercard immediately upon registering, or you may select the “Bill Me” option at checkout and then print/download an invoice to be processed by your institution. Find the invoice by clicking “Manage Profile / Invoices”. Subsequent payment may be made online at that location or may be paid by bank transfer. 4S strongly prefers online payment upon registration, for obvious reasons: transfers are costly, and pursuing people for payment is a nuisance for all involved. If you need bank information to initiate a transfer, contact webmaster@4sonline.org.
All online transactions will be processed in US dollars.
Agreements and Formalities
By virtue of your meeting registration, you agree not to distribute virtual meeting urls or otherwise provide access to the meeting events to any unauthorized or unregistered user. Losing control of meeting access opens up our sessions to spam and abuse.
All presenters, by virtue of their registration, consent to having their presentation recorded. Recordings of virtual sessions will be posted very shortly after the close of each session, making it easier for all people to view more sessions than is normally possible. Recordings will only be posted behind login for registered attendees and will be available only for approximately 60 days.
As with all our meetings, all substantive intellectual content will remain the exclusive property of its creator(s). 4S and EASST neither endorse nor disclaim the conclusions, interpretations, or opinions expressed by speakers in this meeting.
